I suppose this car doors are the best example of resolving the previously stated contradiction: a car door, when open, should occupy a significant amount of space to provide ease of entry and exit for the driver and passengers, AND should occupy a small amount of space due to dense city parking and considerations safety. A stunning door does both functions perfectly, providing ease of entry and exit taking up zero outside space when opened and closed. The contradiction was resolved with pinciple of separation in the system (rotary drop door system).
It's likely we'll see cars with these doors on the road someday once some of the other contradictory features, including consumer demand, safety, practicality and cost-effectiveness have been resolved.
